At Mornington Special Developmental School, we understand that navigating the NDIS can sometimes be confusing and overwhelming for families. Our NDIS Navigator, Gen, supports parents and carers to understand their child’s NDIS plan and access the supports and services that may be available to them.

The role includes helping families understand their options, find appropriate supports and work through questions or concerns they may have about their NDIS plan or services.

Working alongside families, school staff, NDIS-funded providers and other services, the NDIS Navigator helps build connections around each student and supports communication between home, school and the services involved in their child’s support.

We are very fortunate to have NDIS Navigation as part of our whole-school support at MSDS, helping families feel informed, connected and supported as they navigate the NDIS.
