RDA Carriage Riding Program
Our RDA Carriage Riding Program provides students with an engaging and inclusive opportunity to participate in horse-based activities within a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
Through carriage riding, students are supported to develop a range of physical, social, emotional and functional skills while experiencing the joy and connection that comes from working with horses. The program is adapted to meet the individual needs and abilities of each student, ensuring that everyone can participate and experience success.

More than a ride
The program is not simply about riding in a carriage. Each session provides opportunities for students to develop skills, make choices, communicate, build relationships and participate in a shared experience.
Our approach focuses on what each student can do, with appropriate adjustments and support provided to help them participate as independently as possible. Students are encouraged to celebrate their achievements, develop confidence and build positive connections with the horses, volunteers, staff and their peers.
